Can you give an advice?

Hello! :) After few weeks I’ll go to something like a prom. Actually, we’ll first have a dinner and than go to a disco and my friends call it prom because we’ll do it at the end of the school year. I have shoes and I want to buy a dress and go with them to the prom. Can you give an idea what kind of dress to buy?
